Amazing fact of bhimkund

Bhimkund (otherwise called Neelkund) is a characteristic water tank and a blessed spot in Madhya Pradesh, India. It is situated close Bajna town in Chhatarpur area, Madhya Pradesh. It is 77 km away from Chhatarpur by street in the Bundelkhand region.[1]

Bhimkund is a characteristic water source and a heavenly place that purportedly dates from the period of the Mahabharata. The water of the kund (tank) is so perfect and straightforward that one can plainly observe fish swimming in the water. The kund lies in a cavern, around 3 meters from the mouth. To one side of the passageway is a little Shivalinga. The pool is a profound indigo blue which stands out from the red stone dividers.

A story from the Mahabharata joins Bhimkund with the Pandavas. Tired under the singing Surya, Draupadi blacked out of thirst. Bhim, the most grounded of the five siblings, hit the ground with his gada (a mace-like weapon utilized in antiquated India 1500 BCE or prior); water flooded out and the pool appeared.

The top of the cavern has a little opening simply over the kund; this is the spot Bhim is said to have hit with his gada.

Another legend has it that the Vedic sage Narada played out the Gandharva Gaanam (divine tune) in commendation of Lord Vishnu. Satisfied with his commitment, Vishnu rose up out of the kund and the water turned blue in light of Vishnu's dull composition.

The pool is otherwise called Neel Kund (blue pool) and Narada
